On June 2nd, from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m., I will be leading an intensive workshop: The Essential Major Donor Toolkit.
What: Â Based on my dozen years as an Executive Director and half-dozen as a consultant to more than sixty nonprofit organizations, I have pulled together the most important lessons any organization should take into account as they work to ramp up their success pursuing significant gifts from individuals.
When: June 2nd, 1:30-4:30 p.m.
Where: Â The Hatch, 2420 NE Sandy Blvd, Portland, in the large conference room.
Who: Â Participation will be strictly limited to the first 20 people who register.
The workshop is designed for Executive Directors, Development Directors, and others who play a fundraising role at nonprofits that includes the pursuit of individual major donors.
It’s not meant for organizations who are starting from scratch when it comes to major donors. Â Instead, it’s meant for organizations who want to take their fledgling major donor effort to the next level — with better systems, better donor meetings, and stories that have more resonance with major donors.
What does it cost: Â Registration is $45. Â (Similar workshops would likely charge twice this, but I’m committed to helping more Portland-area nonprofits thrive, so I’m keeping the costs as low as I can).
Preparation: About a week prior to the workshop, participants will be emailed an optional 30-60 minute homework assignment to help prime their thinking.
Be sure to register online ASAP as I expect the workshop to fill up.
Feel free to email me if you have specific questions to determine whether the workshop is right for you.
