Strategic and Campaign Planning
I design strategic planning processes, conduct stakeholder research, plan and facilitate retreats, and draft strategic plans. I work with staff, stakeholders, and/or coalition partners to craft a plan for winning an advocacy campaign.
Coalitions and other Collaborative Strategies
I assist multiple organizations coming together to form a new coalition, network, alliance, or other form of partnership. I assist existing collaborations with retreat facilitation, planning, and priority-setting.
Fundraising
I provide training, coaching, and direct assistance in developing fundraising messages, strategies, tactics, plans, and budgets. I have particular expertise in major donor fundraising, membership fundraising, and fundraising events.
Facilitation
I facilitate single-organization and coalition-wide staff, board, or membership retreats or meetings. Whether navigating a difficult decision or building a shared vision, I design and lead sessions that bring out the best in your team and move your work forward.
Board Governance
I provide one-off-training and extended projects where I assist organizations with board governance, board recruitment, effective board meetings, and the board-Executive Director relationship.
Executive Coaching and Transitions
I coach individual Executive Directors, particularly those new or newer to their roles or for organizations undergoing rapid change.
I assist boards with transitions in the executive role, including hiring processes for smaller organizations that can’t afford a specialty executive recruitment firm.
